My approach is thoughtful, relaxed and gently guided, creating images that feel both natural and quietly striking.

Hi, I’m Ellie
I photograph people, but l’m just as interested in the atmosphere around them. The light, the setting, the conversations and the little details that help tell the story.
l’m drawn to light, place, colour, texture and the small details that give somewhere its character. Much of my work sits somewhere between portrait and story, whether that’s a woman in her workspace, a family at home or a wedding in a setting with a bit of soul.
My approach
I work in a relaxed, natural way, but l’m not completely hands off. I’ll step in when it helps, adjust things quietly and keep an eye on the details that make a difference.
You won’t be left wondering what to do. Just enough direction to keep things easy and looking good.
