An ongoing portrait project about women and the places that matter to them.
The places we return to, feel ourselves in, remember, work, walk, create or simply belong. Each woman chooses her own place and I photograph her there.
Some are ordinary, some beautiful, some deeply personal. Together they become a collection of women, their stories and the spaces that hold a little piece of them.

“My home reflects who l am. I love mixing different styles, especially vintage and mid-century pieces and creating a space that feels personal rather than following one particular trend. Many of the things around me hold special memories and remind me of different moments in my life. More recently plants have become a big part of the space too. I love that mix of old and new, memories and nature, it makes my home feel truly like me.”

“I grew up in rural Suffolk and places like this take me straight back to childhood. Long summer days, picnics, strawberries, bare feet and sunshine. I love that a wildflower meadow feels joyful without trying too hard. Nothing is overly polished or manicured, everything belongs exactly as it is. As l have got older, l’ve realised place is often less about geography and more about how it makes you feel. Somewhere simple and welcoming and quietly alive is where l feel most myself.”
